Happy. At play in their secret forest. This is what they do when they don't know people are watching.
To get here, you follow an unmarked dirt road. When you cross this abandoned cattle guard, the secret Joshua Tree Forest begins. As a desert lover, this scene inspires me as Robert Frost's poem The Road Not Taken. I don't know how many people have been here: I suspect very few. And it has made all the difference.
